Regional Peace Maker Benjamin Netanyahu Addresses Crowd in Jerusalem with Symbolic Sword, Vows Continued Campaign Against Regional Militants

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared in Jerusalem holding what he described as King David’s sword, delivering a strongly worded speech in which he declared that “the head of the snake has been cut off,” referring to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as part of his rhetoric, and vowed to continue targeting what he called remaining “tails” of militant networks across the region, including Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis in Yemen, and armed groups in Iraq and Syria.

In his remarks, Netanyahu stated that Israel was approaching what he described as a “prolonged peace through strength,” urging the international community to recognize the strategic benefits of stability and to support Israel’s role in regional security.

He emphasized that despite Israel’s relatively small size and population, it had positioned itself at the forefront of defending its people.

If Moses had used the love card on Pharaoh, the people of God, the Israelis would still have remained in Egypt till date.

Modern day politics will call it diplomacy. Modern day church will call it loving your enemies, even blessing them that despitefully used you. As Jesus commanded.

I believe in following the teachings of Christ our Lord and Saviour.

But there is an oversight on the part of our Bible teachers, which is not an oversight to Christ The Great Teacher Himself and The Great Father Who sent Him.

And what is that?

Offences are in levels, scales and gravities.

Let's first touch the scales and gravities before touching it's graduation to deliberate oppression and affliction which we want to hone on and finalise on.

Gravities and weights range, so are the consequences.

Peter denied Christ with an oath, Jesus pardoned and restored him. Having an understanding of Peter's inability to cope with the pressure of that traumatic hour. Knowing that Peter can't simply help it nor help himself.

Judas faced no pressure at all. The treasurer was under no pressure, other than that of greed and insatiable selfish antecedents of Gehazi. Judas was in charge of the groups money and he often help himself out with as much as he wants. And this Jesus and the rest of the disciples were aware of.

So what is mere twenty pieces of silver? For this pieces of silver, Judas betrayed his Master. And his neck broke for it! And that without remedy! 

Yes offences and iniquities are in scales gravities.

God confronted David saying ".... I gave you thy master's(Saul) wiveS...." Only God alone knew the numbers of these wives. II Samuel 12:8

Then why go for Uriah's only wife - Bathsheba?

We all knew that was the beginning of Rebellion and insurgency in David's own house and kingdom from Absalom to Adonijah who even attempted the hijack the kingdom!

This same David as a young shepherd boy never played next door neighbour love with Goliath. Gravity of offence? Goliath, an uncircumcised Philistine for that matter, defied the army of The Living God! And his head went for it!

We can all now get a better understanding of why the weighting scale is being used as a symbol and logo of justice and judicial system.

It all began with God. It depends on the weight and gravity of the offence.

Finally brethren, when offences graduates from common mistakenly stepping on toes, to deliberately ruffling feathers, to willful and intentional day to day oppression and affliction. Then a believer in his right sense who knows his God should open his armoury, reach for his sword, unsheath his sword and swing the axe. As a battle axe of The Lord!

Yes. We mean but when the handshake begins to go beyond the elbow......
