 Florida Strikes Back: Sharia Law Banned, Terror Groups Targeted in Bold New Law Headed to DeSantis

Florida just took a no-nonsense stand for American values. House Bill 1471 has cleared the legislature and is on its way to Governor Ron DeSantis for signature, slamming the door on Sharia law in state courts and arming the state to crush terrorist networks before they take root.

The bill makes crystal clear that the U.S. and Florida constitutions reign supreme. No foreign religious code like repressive Sharia gets a foothold in Florida's legal system. Courts cannot enforce it. Period.

It also gives the Chief of Domestic Security the power to designate domestic or foreign terrorist organizations, with approval from the governor and Cabinet. Once labeled, these groups lose all access to taxpayer dollars. No more public funds flowing to schools, agencies, or programs tied to them.

Islamic schools pushing Sharia that have been sucking up millions in school vouchers? That gravy train ends now.

College students caught promoting designated terror groups face immediate expulsion and out-of-state tuition rates. No more radicals gaming the system on our dime while undermining our way of life.

This is common-sense protection for Floridians. Radical Islam is incompatible with Western freedom, individual rights, and the rule of law. Supporters like bill sponsor Rep. Hillary Cassel nailed it: American law first, no exceptions for doctrines that treat women as property, punish apostates, or seek to replace our republic with theocracy.

While left-wing critics and Muslim advocacy groups whine about "discrimination" and "free speech," real Americans see the truth.

Florida is leading the fight to keep our state safe from infiltration in schools, politics, and courts. Other states need to follow fast.

DeSantis is expected to sign it without hesitation. Florida remains the Free State, putting patriots and the Constitution over political correctness. Well done.
